Detroit photo booth rental FAQs — setup, pricing & booking
How much does a photo booth cost for a Detroit wedding?
Most Detroit weddings land between $899 and $1,699 for a three-hour booth. Digital-only setups start at $549. Every quote is all-inclusive — delivery, setup, teardown, attendant, custom design and your gallery. There is no travel fee inside Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw or Livingston County.
How far in advance should I book a photo booth in Metro Detroit?
Six to nine months for a Saturday between May and October. Peak Saturdays in the Detroit market book out first. Off-peak dates and weekday corporate events are usually available inside 60 days. We hold any date free for 48 hours.
How much space does a photo booth need?
Ten feet by ten feet, one standard power outlet, and level ground. Backdrop stands are 8 feet tall, so check your ceiling clearance. The digital roaming booth fits in about 6 × 6 ft. Setup takes one hour before your event and teardown runs 30–45 minutes.
Is an attendant included in the rental?
Yes — a professional attendant stays for the entire rental on every package except the unattended digital drop-off. They coach poses, keep the line moving, reload prints and handle every technical issue so nobody at your event has to.
Do you cover Royal Oak, Troy, Novi and the rest of Oakland County?
Yes, with no travel fee. The standard service area covers all of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston counties — Detroit, Royal Oak, Troy, Birmingham, Novi, Southfield, Dearborn, Livonia, Sterling Heights, Ann Arbor and everywhere between. Events outside that radius are quoted individually.
How long does setup take, and is it included in my hours?
Setup takes one hour and is not deducted from your rental time. A three-hour package means three hours of live booth for your guests. We arrive early, test everything, and are ready before doors open.
When do I get the photos?
Prints are in your guests' hands in seconds; the full gallery arrives within 48 hours. Guests can also text or email their own copies straight from the booth during the event. Prints are 2×6 as standard, with 4×6 available as an upgrade.
What happens if my event is outdoors and it rains?
We need a covered, level surface with power — a tent, pavilion or overhang. Confirm the rain plan with your venue when you book and tell us what it is. We'll bring the setup that works for both scenarios rather than gambling on the forecast.
Are you insured? My venue is asking for a certificate.
Yes — $2,000,000 in liability coverage, and we'll send the certificate directly to your venue. Most Detroit-area venues request this 30 days out. Send us the contact and we'll handle the paperwork.
Can you brand the booth and prints for a corporate event?
Yes — logo on every print, digital share and booth wrap, plus a custom backdrop. Corporate activations across Detroit typically pair branding with the AI booth or 360 booth for the highest share rate. Send brand assets two weeks ahead.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The quoted price covers delivery, setup, teardown, the attendant, custom design, unlimited sessions and your gallery. Additional hours and the 4×6 print upgrade are the only add-ons, and both are priced before you book.
